“Nashville Rising” Flood Relief Concert Sells Out Quickly

Nearly all of the tickets to the all-star “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery” were quickly sold when they went on sale Friday (May 14). Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are spearheading the June 22 concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Other performers include Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Amy Grant, Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes, Michael W. Smith, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. All profits from the show will benefit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee in its flood relief efforts. According to Ticketmaster’s website, the only tickets remaining are VIP packages priced at $1,000 and other tickets offered in an auction. The other tickets — priced from $22.50 to $247.50 — are sold out. The VIP tickets include seating in the first 13 rows of the arena, signed memorabilia and a post-show reception with the artists at the nearby Palm restaurant. Additional tickets are available in an auction on the Ticketmaster website.
