CMT Crossroads: The Steve Miller Band and Kenny Chesney is scheduled to air July 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. The episode was taped in March at the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. Miller and Chesney are longtime friends who have shared the stage in San Francisco during Chesney’s stadium shows in the Bay Area. The Steve Miller Band’s lengthy string of hits includes “Rockin’ Me,” “Jet Airliner,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Living in the U.S.A.” and “Take the Money and Run.” For CMT Crossroads, the collaborations include Miller’s “The Joker” and “Abracadabra” and Chesney’s “Living in Fast Forward” and “I Go Back.” Chesney made his first CMT Crossroads appearance in 2003 with John Mellencamp.
