Justin Townes Earle, Raul Malo Plan September Album Releases

Justin Townes Earle and Raul Malo are among the Americana artists announcing new albums to be released in September. Earle’s Harlem River Blues will be issued on Bloodshot Records on Sept. 14. He was named the best new and emerging artist by the Americana Music Association last year. Malo will offer Sinners & Saints on Sept. 28 on Fantasy Records. A founder of the Mavericks, Malo recorded the Latin-influenced album in his home studio in Nashville and with numerous guests in Austin, Texas. Selections include a remake of Rodney Crowell‘s “‘Til I Gain Control Again.” Other Americana releases scheduled for September include Ryan Bingham‘s Junky Star, the SteelDriversReckless and Thrift Store Cowboys’ Light Fighter.
