Stewed Tomatoes

1 quart tomatoes, sweetened to taste
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 slices bread, crumbled
5-6 pats butter
salt and pepper to taste
sugar to taste

Preheat oven to 350°.

Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350° for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
