Darryl Worley will host his ninth annual Tennessee River Run Festival on Sept. 16-18 near his hometown of Savannah, Tenn. The three-day event will benefit the Darryl Worley Foundation, a charitable fund for West Tennessee. Worley will host a songwriter’s night on Sept. 16 with Wynn Varble and Phil O’Donnell in Iuka, Miss. The Marshall Tucker Band will perform on Sept. 17 in downtown Savannah. On the final night, Worley and American Idol finalist Danny Gokey will perform at the nearby Pickwick Landing State Park on Sept. 18. The event will also offer a golf tournament, boat poker run, a 5K run and walk and a motorcycle poker run. Worley is planning to release a new album in October.
