Kristy Lee Cook, Former American Idol Finalist, Signs to Broken Bow Records

Kristy Lee Cook, an American Idol finalist from 2008, has signed with Broken Bow Records, according to a posting on her Twitter account on Thursday (Aug. 5). Cook placed seventh during the Fox series’ seventh season. Cook released her first country single, “15 Minutes of Shame,” in August 2008, followed by an album titled Why Wait a month later. However, Cook parted ways with 19 Records/Sony Music shortly afterwards. The Broken Bow roster also includes Jason Aldean and several new artists.
