Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews Band Help Kick Off NFL Season
Taylor Swift and the Dave Matthews Band performed Thursday (Sept. 9) in the New Orleans French Quarter during the kick-off party prior to the official start of this year's NFL season. Swift sang "You Belong With Me" and "Mine" to the thousands who gathered at Jackson Square. The New Orleans Saints later claimed a 14-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Swift's "Fifteen" is nominated in the best female video category at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards taking place Sunday (Sept. 12) in Los Angeles. The event airs on MTV at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Swift's new album, Speak Now, will be released on Oct. 25.
