New Book Captures CMA Awards History

A new book, The CMA Awards Vault, captures the history of the annual ceremony with rare photos, artwork, memorabilia and interviews with numerous artists, including the first CMA Awards show host, Sonny James, and current co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. The book was written by Nashville-based journalist Deborah Evans Price. In addition, Kenny Chesney contributed the foreword and Barbara Mandrell wrote the afterword. The 144-page hardcover book, published by Whitman Publishing, is available in bookstores and online retailers at a suggested retail price of $49.95. The CMA Awards will take place Nov. 10 in Nashville and will be broadcast live on ABC.
