Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney Assist in IEBA Hall of Fame Inductions

Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney and Lee Ann Womack made surprise appearances Sunday night (Oct. 3) in Nashville to induct three of their music industry allies into the International Entertainment Buyers Hall of Fame. McBride inducted talent agent Ron Baird, who retired from the Creative Artists Agency in 2004 after opening the company's Nashville office in 1991. Womack hosted the induction of Erv Woolsey, her longtime manager who has also managed George Strait throughout his recording career. Chesney inducted his manager, Dale Morris, who has guided the careers of other artists, including Alabama. Others inducted into the IEBA Hall of Fame during the organization's annual conference included Charlie Daniels, Dick Clark and the late Johnny Cash and Lawrence Welk.
