Montgomery Gentry Will Build Playground on Oct. 20

Montgomery Gentry will join volunteers to build a playground at Booker T. Washington Academy in Lexington, Ky., on Wednesday (Oct. 20). As recipients of the Academy of Country Music/The Home Depot Humanitarian Award in April, the Kentucky natives received a KaBOOM! playground built in their honor. The site was chosen by an online fan poll. Montgomery Gentry’s humanitarian endeavors include the U.S. military, the T.J. Martell Foundation, Camp Horsin’ Around in Lexington, Ky., and the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
