Unanswered Prayers TV Movie Premieres Nov. 29

Unanswered Prayers, a made-for-TV movie inspired by Garth Brooks’ 1991 hit, will premiere Nov. 29 on the Lifetime network. Brooks and Lisa Sanderson produced the film for their company, Red Strokes Productions. Filmed in Virginia, it tells the story of a happily-married father whose life changes when the woman of his high school dreams returns to town. The film stars Eric Close, Samantha Mathis and Madchen Amick. Brooks is expected to promote the movie during upcoming appearances on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He wrote “Unanswered Prayers” with Pat Alger and Larry Bastian. It spent two weeks at No. 1 in 1990.
