I knew there had to be some kind of magical slim-down secret that was making Miranda Lambert look so good these days. “Now instead of Cheetos, I choose almonds,” she said of the major revision to her snacking routine. She isn’t technically keeping track of the pounds she’s shed, but she is down two sizes and admits the change is more than just the almonds-over-Cheetos rule. In the Jan. 10 issue of Us Weekly , she said she also steers clear of the dreaded white foods. “No mayonnaise, no potatoes or bread … really just vegetables and meat,” she said. What she will eat is healthy food like oatmeal, turkey, veggies and salad. She also does circuit training with Tony Boykin three times a week. And how does she know it’s all working? “I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost. I just know people tell me, ‘You look great,’” she said.
