How thoughtful is Keith Urban? After all the tragic flooding in Australia, the worst in some 36 years, country concerts are probably the last thing on anyone’s mind. So why would he put tickets on sale as scheduled when the whole Queensland area of Brisbane is completely preoccupied trying to assess damages and start recovery? The answer is, he won’t. He’s going to wait. Team Urban took to Twitter on Wednesday (Jan. 12) to spread the news that they’d hold the on-sale date until things were less chaotic. “Due to the current devastation in Queensland, Keith’s Brisbane concert will not go on sale until further notice. Keith will play at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre as planned on Friday, April 15. However, until the people of Queensland have dealt with the worst of this disaster, our thoughts are with them and their need to focus on managing this situation,” the tweets said. Urban’s Brissy fans, as they call themselves on his website, are in all our prayers.
