OFFSTAGE: Faith Hill Comes Clean With Jimmy Fallon

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

If I was Faith Hill, I’m not sure I’d ever be brave enough to go on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He is so damn funny, you just never know what he’s going to ask, say or do. But when she was on his show on Wednesday night (Jan. 12), they pretty much just talked about how to fold laundry. “As a mom, washing is just part of your life,” Hill said, admitting, “I stink at folding.” That led into a discussion about how to fold T-shirts. Fellow guest Paul Giamatti said he was bad at folding collared shirts. And Fallon admitted that he learned to fold when he had a short stint at an Abercrombie & Fitch store in college. Then Hill put on a bright yellow snowsuit and tackled a snowman on the roof of the studio at 30 Rock. But even after all that, one of the funniest moments for me was when Hill said that when Fallon comes to Nashville next time, he should stay with her and husband Tim McGraw. Fallon said, “Oh my gosh. I’d love to. This is awesome. Me and Tim. We’ll share bunk beds.”
