Cabbage Wedge Meal in One
1 small head of cabbage
1 cup onions chopped
½ pound ground beef
¼ cup uncooked rice
2 cups canned tomatoes
1 cup hot water
2 teaspoons salt
1/3 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 350°.
Remove tough outside leaves from cabbage. Cut into 6 or 8 wedges and place in a buttered casserole. Arrange onion, ground beef and rice between wedges. Combine tomatoes, water and seasonings. Pour over contents of casserole. Cover with foil and bake 1½ hours at 350°.
