'Country Strong' Earns Oscar Nomination

Country Strong earned an Oscar nomination on Tuesday morning (Jan. 25) in the original song category for "Coming Home." The nomination honors the song's writers -- Tom Douglas, Hillary Lindsey and Troy Verges. The song is performed in the movie by Gwyneth Paltrow as well as Leighton Meester, but the soundtrack only features Paltrow. Both actresses portray country singers in the film. Other nominees in the category include "I See the Light" from Tangled, "If I Rise" from 127 Hours and "We Belong Together" from Toy Story 3. The Oscars will be presented on Feb. 27.
