Jimmy Buffett was hospitalized after falling off the stage at a concert in Sydney, Australia, on Wednesday night (Jan. 26). A message posted Wednesday on his official website acknowledged the accident and stated, “The doctors say he is doing well and will be released tomorrow.” Buffett fell after his last song, face first, and hit his head, according to the Daily Telegraph in Australia. His manager asked the audience to leave the venue as Buffett was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. Buffett was playing his fifth and final show in his Australian tour. Buffett and Alan Jackson scored a No. 1 country hit in 2003 with “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.” He’s scheduled to perform Saturday (Jan. 29) in Auckland, New Zealand.
