Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus Earns Dove Award Nomination

Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus has earned a Dove Award nomination from the Gospel Music Association for his production work on Austin Bridge’s album, Times Like These. The Daywind Records project is nominated for country album of the year. The other nominees in the category are Crawford Crossing’s Turn Up the Music, Jeff & Sheri Easter’s Expecting Good Things, Guy Penrod’s Breathe Deep, Point of Grace’s No Changin’ Us and Ricky SkaggsMosaic. The nominations were announced Wednesday (Feb. 16). The awards will be presented April 20 at the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta. … In other news about Rascal Flatts, the trio will be honored with the Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award at the T.J.
