Brantley Gilbert Signed to the Valory Music Co.

Singer-songwriter Brantley Gilbert has signed with the Valory Music Co., sister to Big Machine Records and the label home of Reba McEntire, Jewel and others. A Georgia native, Gilbert's latest project, Halfway to Heaven, was released by Average Joe's Entertainment and has spent 48 consecutive weeks on Billboard's country albums chart. His songwriting credits include Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party." Gilbert included the song on his 2009 debut album, A Modern Day Prodigal Son. His first single for Valory will be released in April, with an album scheduled for later this year. He'll be headlining the second stage at Willie Nelson's Country Throwdown tour this summer.
