Jason Aldean Adds Summer Dates to My Kinda Party Tour

Chris Young, Thompson Square Will Be Special Guests

Jason Aldean has revealed new dates for his My Kinda Party tour for July and August. He will be joined by Chris Young on select dates, as well as new duo Thompson Square (“Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” ). The summer leg will start on July 8 in Milwaukee as part of the city’s Summerfest music series.

Aldean celebrated the platinum certification of his latest album, My Kinda Party, with an industry celebration in Nashville last week. His latest single, a duet with Kelly Clarkson titled “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard country airplay chart. His next tour date is scheduled for March 19 in Thackerville, Okla.

“Feels like this first leg just got started. … We’re only warming up!” said Aldean. “It’ll be nice to stop in some places we haven’t been since the new record came out. I’m really looking forward to having Chris and Thompson Square out with us, too. Both are on a roll right now, so it’ll be a great time.”
