Taylor Swift’s second feature film, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, will be released on March 2, 2012, the anniversary of the author’s birth date. Produced by Universal and Illumination Entertainment, the CGI-animated adaptation is based on Seuss’ famous tale about taking care of the environment. Swift will voice the character of Audrey, a girl who has attracted the attention of an idealistic boy (voiced by Zac Efron). Other cast members include Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle and Betty White. Seuss’ widow, Audrey Geisel, will serve as executive producer of the film. Swift made her film debut in Valentine’s Day in 2010.
