Alan Jackson will release his new music as a joint venture between his label, ACR (Alan’s Country Records), and Capitol/EMI Records Nashville. Jackson’s new music will be marketed through Capitol’s EMI Records Nashville label. Capitol Nashville and EMI Records Nashville are both headed by Mike Dungan, who worked with Jackson in the ’90s as senior vice president and general manager of Arista Nashville, the singer-songwriter’s longtime label home. Jackson recently exited Arista Nashville, now a division of Sony Music Nashville, after completing his contract. Capitol and EMI’s country roster includes Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban, along with several new artists.
