I used to think there was nothing Darius Rucker couldn’t do. He’s blessed with a voice that can do no wrong. But now I know there is one thing he can’t handle: yoga. In a Thursday morning (April 7) interview with WUSN/Chicago , he said that while he does do the P90X workouts , the yoga is the one part he just can’t get through. “I had to stop for a while, but I will be starting back today when I get off the phone,” he promises. Then he admits, “Yoga’s in the P90X. The funny thing is, the only tape I don’t get all the way through is the yoga. It’s hard and not fun. You get a good stretch, but, man, it’s hard.” Could it be the warrior poses? The chatarunga? The triangle pose? Or the half moon to twisting half moon? I’ve tried it before and barely got through the first 10 minutes of the 90-minute workout and cursed Tony Horton every step of the way. So it’s kind of nice to know I’m not the only one who thinks some of those impossible moves are seriously just not possible.
