Jo Dee Messina’s “Carry Me” Will Help Build School

Jo Dee Messina has digitally released a new song, “Carry Me,” to help raise money for Holy Trinity Montessori, a school in Nashville. The song will be available for a donation of one dollar through July 15 on the campaign’s fundraising website , with a goal of $2.3 million. Messina’s label, Curb Records, allowed her to release the song independently while songwriter Jared Anderson will donate his royalties. Messina also plans to raise money for the school with a series of concerts. The school, founded in 2009, currently has 25 students enrolled, with another 45 on the waiting list. The new schoolhouse will accommodate up to, but no more than, 125 children.
