Stars Attend Fundraising Dinner for Cancer Research

Numerous country artists, including Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride and Blake Shelton, attended a gourmet dinner at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville on Monday night (April 25), helping to raise more than $170,000 for cancer research on behalf of the T.J. Martell Foundation. Other guests at the 12th annual Eco-Energy Best Cellars Dinner included Big Kenny of Big & Rich, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, Kix Brooks, Laura Bell Bundy, Jonathan Cain of Journey, Amy Grant, Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum, members of Little Big Town, Kellie Pickler and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts. The four-course gourmet meal was prepared by guest chef Ken Frank, executive chef and owner of La Toque in Napa, Calif., while the wines were chosen from private collections across the U.S. Proceeds from the event will help the T.J. Martell Foundation's mission of funding cancer research at the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. The event has raised more than $2 million since its inception in 1999.
