Doobie Brothers, Luke Bryan Tape CMT Crossroads

The Doobie Brothers and Luke Bryan united onstage Wednesday night (June 1) for an episode of CMT Crossroads scheduled to debut on June 24 on CMT. The set list included the Doobie Brothers’ “Black Water,” “Long Train Runnin'” and “China Grove” and Bryan’s “Rain Is a Good Thing,” “Do I” and his current single, “Country Girl (Shake It for Me).” The special was taped before an invitation-only audience near Nashville. The Doobie Brothers issued their first album in a decade, World Gone Crazy, in 2010. Bryan’s next project, Tailgates & Tanlines, will be released on Aug. 9.
