The Rapids Jam Music Festival will begin Thursday (June 16) in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. The three-day event is expected to attract more than 100,000 country fans. Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown tour, which also features Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser and Lee Brice, will kick off the festival on Thursday night. Sugarland and Darius Rucker will appear on Friday, while Lady Antebellum, Clay Walker, Colt Ford and North Carolina natives Jason Michael Carroll and Bucky Covington will perform on Saturday. Three-day general admission tickets are $120 and single-day tickets are $60.
