Taylor Swift Cancels Kentucky Concert Due to Illness

Taylor Swift canceled her Saturday night (July 2) concert in Louisville, Ky., due to illness. The nature of the ailment was not disclosed, but it marks the first concert cancellation in her career. A message on her official website stated, “Due to illness and under doctor’s orders, Taylor Swift has been forced to postpone tonight’s performance, and the show has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 11. Taylor is sorry to have to disappoint her fans in Louisville but is looking forward to coming back this fall.” Via Twitter, Swift told her fans, “Louisville, I so sorry to have to postpone this show to Oct 11. This is my first time having to do this. I’m so, so sorry.” Tickets to Saturday’s concert at the KFC Yum Center will be honored at the October show. Ticket refunds will also be available at the place of purchase. Swift’s next concert is scheduled for Friday (July 8) in Charlotte, N.C.
