Blake Shelton Earns First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200

Blake Shelton has earned his first No. 1 album on the all-genre Billboard 200 sales chart. His new project, Red River Blue, debuted atop the list with 116,402 units sold in its first week, with almost 30 percent of sales in the digital format. The album’s singles include “Honey Bee” and “God Gave Me You.” He edged out first-week releases by Incubus, Chris Young, Colbie Caillat, Theory of a Deadman and Sublime with Rome for the top position. It’s his highest-selling debut week to date.
