I'm pretty sure I know all the wrong ways of having fun. And I'm guessing, so does Blake Shelton. So it's nice to hear him describe his new album, Red River Blue, by saying, "This album, it's mature." In a recent radio interview, Shelton elaborated on that, saying, "Yeah, I'm still drunk all the time. You know what I mean? I'm still singing about it and having fun with life. But I'm having fun in the right way with somebody that I love. And I think when you listen to the record you'll just get that sense from me." It makes sense that he'd be focusing on the "right way," because his new song "God Gave Me You" is a cover of a Christian rock song by Dave Barnes. (I only know this because I saw Barnes sing it himself on All My Children last summer.)
