Toby Keith’s new album, Clancy’s Tavern, will be released on Oct. 25. The title and release date were announced Thursday (July 28). Keith wrote the title track after being inspired by memories of a nightclub his grandmother operated in Fort Smith, Ark. As a youth, he helped her at the bar and previously referred to the work in his 2005 single, “Honkytonk U.” The first single from Clancy’s Tavern, “Made in America,” has climbed to No. 13 on Billboard’s country albums chart. Keith’s Friday night (July 29) concert at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot has been canceled because of flooding in the area. His Locked & Loaded tour continues Saturday at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyo., and Sunday at the Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, Alberta, Canada.
