Taylor Swift’s “Mean” Video Competes at MTV Video Music Awards

Taylor Swift’s “Mean” is nominated for best video with a message at the MTV Video Music Awards. The VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on MTV on Sunday (Aug. 28) at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Swift’s video will compete against “Love the Way You Lie” by Eminem featuring Rihanna, “Firework” by Katy Perry, “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga, “F****** Perfect” by Pink and “Make It Stop (September’s Children)” by Rise Against. Scheduled performers include Adele, Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, Pitbull and Young the Giant. Presenters include Taylor Lautner, Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Zoe Saldana, Seth Rogen, Drake, Joe Jonas, Jared Leto, Jonah Hill, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Victoria Justice, Rick Ross, Odd Future and JB Smoove.
