Hunter Hayes Plans New Album, Opry Appearance

Hunter Hayes, the newcomer known for “Storm Warning,” will release his self-titled debut album on Oct. 11 on Atlantic Records. A Louisiana native, he wrote or co-wrote all 12 songs on the album, co-produced it with Dann Huff and played every instrument on the album. Hayes opened shows for Taylor Swift’s Speak Now tour in seven cities this year. His next performance will be in Bonner Springs, Kan., on Saturday (Aug. 27). He will also appear at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday (Aug. 30).
