Bucky Covington, an American Idol finalist in 2006, is scheduled to release a new album early next year on Entertainment One Music Group. He is currently writing and recording for the project. He also expects to release a new single late this year. Covington's self-titled debut album, released in 2006, included the hits "A Different World," "It's Good to Be Us" and "I'll Walk." He had previously recorded for Disney's Lyric Street Records, which closed in 2010.
