After spending much of 2011 together on the road, Rascal Flatts and Sara Evans have extended their tour schedule into next year. Newcomer Hunter Hayes ("Storm Warning") will open the shows.

Billed as "Thaw Out 2012," the tour will launch on Jan. 12 in Charleston, W.V., and conclude Feb. 18 in East Rutherford, N.J.

During the tour, Rascal Flatts will stop in Columbus, Ohio, which is the hometown of group members Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus. In addition, the tour will visit Columbia, Mo., about 30 miles from Evans' hometown of New Franklin, Mo.
