Lauren Alaina recently dropped 25 pounds in five months. That’s five pounds a month. Which is more than a pound a week. Which is really unbelievable. So there must be some secret, right? Unfortunately, no. The “secret” is the same one skinny people have been using for centuries: diet and exercise. Alaina told Us Weekly, “Changing my diet was the big thing.” Other tips she divulged: portion control, egg-white omelets for breakfast, shrimp and veggies for lunch and chicken with asparagus for dinner. She still wants to lose 10 more pounds and is working hard to maintain that healthy diet and doing crunches, push-ups and squats. It probably doesn’t hurt that she’s only 16 and has the energy of a 16-year-old.
