John V. Brown’s Pie

1 cup sugar
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup chopped pecans
1 6-ounce package butterscotch chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pie crust

Preheat oven to 325°.

Mix together sugar and flour. Add butter and blend well. Stir in eggs, chips, nuts and vanilla. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated 325° oven for one hour or until golden brown. Pie will wiggle when done. It sets as it cools. Serves 8.
