Scotty McCreery's Clear as Day remains firmly in the top berth of Billboard's country chart, a position it has occupied for most of its eight-week run. In doing so, the American Idol winner deflects Taylor Swift, whose Speak Now: World Tour Live CD and DVD set debuts at No. 2.

Lady Antebellum's "We Owned the Night" now owns the No. 1 spot on the country songs chart at the end of its 15-week climb.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, Swift's package sold 76,882 units its first week out while McCreery's album tallied up 87,775 ka-chings during the same period, a feat that brings the latter's sales total to 587,381 since its release.

On Billboard's all-genres chart, Speak Now: World Tour Live comes in at No. 11. There, Michael Bublé's Christmas now wears the crown with sales of 227,122 copies in its fifth week on the chart.

One thing's for sure, though. With Christmas time a' comin', Swift still has plenty of time to work the sales magic that has made her one of the few saviors of recorded music in recent years.

And there's another bit of good news for Swift: Her single "Ours" is the week's highest-debuting new song. It arrives comfortably at No. 56.

The week's other new albums and their entry points are Willie Nelson's Remember Me: Vol. 1 (No. 40) and two multi-artist holiday CDs, Country Christmas Classics (No. 69) and Country Classics (No. 70).

Two albums return: Toby Keith's Bullets in the Gun (No. 74) and Joey & Rory's A Farmhouse Christmas (No. 75).

The other newcomers to this week's song chart are Clay Walker's "Like We Never Said Goodbye" (No. 57) and Jana Kramer's "Why You Wanna" (No. 60). Kid Rock's "Care" returns to battle at No. 58.

The No. 3 through No. 5 albums are The Band Perry, Lady A's Own the Night and Keith's Clancy's Tavern, in that order.

Rounding out the Top 5 songs are Jason Aldean's "Tattoos on This Town," Miranda Lambert's "Baggage Claim," the Zac Brown Band's "Keep Me in Mind" and Brantley Gilbert's "Country Must Be Country Wide" (last week's No. 1).

Well, friends, it's showdown time. Buy those gift albums like they're going out of style -- because, alas, they are.
