If I was planning the kind of 2012 that Jason Aldean is planning, I’d probably rest up, too. He told CMT Radio that for the rest of 2011, he’s just going to chill at home in Nashville. “I’m probably gonna go into hiding for about the next month and a-half. You know, I got two little girls at home — an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old — so this is my time of the year where I get to go home and be dad and kinda just hang out with them,” Aldean said. After that, though, it’s back to work. His tour with Luke Bryan and Lauren Alaina kicks off in January. Then he has the Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, when he could potentially bring home three awards. The most coveted of which, for Aldean, is the best country album Grammy. “That album nomination is what artists dream of their whole career,” he says in a story on his website.
