Jason Aldean, The Band Perry Added to 2012 CMA Music Festival

Jason Aldean and The Band Perry have joined the performance lineup for the nightly concerts at LP Field during the CMA Music Festival set for June 7-10 in downtown Nashville. They join five-time CMA Award winner Carrie Underwood, who was recently announced as the first artist confirmed for the 2012 festival. Specific dates for the three acts' performances have not been revealed. Aldean received his first two CMA trophies in November when My Kinda Party was named album of the year and his collaboration with Kelly Clarkson on "Don't You Wanna Stay" was voted musical event of the year. The Band Perry were presented their first CMA awards last month, too, winning the new artist prize and the single of the year category for "If I Die Young," Lead vocalist Kimberly Perry won an additional award for song of the year for writing the trio's breakthrough hit. Tickets to the CMA Music Festival range in price from $115 to $325, plus handling fees, and are available via Ticketmaster.
