OFFSTAGE: 275,000 Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw Fans Lucked Out

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

They are the lucky few. Those 275,000 country fans who got their Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw Brothers of the Sun tour tickets right when they went on sale for the first eight shows. (It seems like a lot of tickets, but if you were among the many sitting at your computer watching all the good seats get snapped up before you hit "buy now," you may think 275,000 was not quite enough.) Still, that number would be staggering if you were Chesney or McGraw, knowing that that many people were dying to see you. Chesney admits that as much as his fans love him, the feeling is very mutual. "Being able to play music and feel the love coming from the crowd and for them to feel it vice-versa? That's a very special thing, and I think it's been for the past decade it's just been a really awesome love affair," he said in a recent radio interview. "And that's the best way I can explain it."

A side note on those lucky few: There is a new feature from Ticketmaster that allows you to see who is sitting where via Facebook. It might just be the coolest way to use social media I've ever seen. You can see where all Facebookers -- or just your own friends -- will be sitting.
