When you see the CMT Artists of the Year special tomorrow night (Dec. 13), you’ll see a lot of glamour, class and celebrity. But you may not get a close up of the actual dinner. I, however, had a firsthand look at the menu, so I know what honorees Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift had on their plates that night. From the spiced shrimp in the beginning to the bourbon gelato at the end.
Today, though, I’m obsessed with soup. When celeb chef Stephanie Izard was on The Talk right after the CMT taping, she talked about a brown butter and squash soup she’d made during the proceedings and remarked, “Taylor Swift said she loved it.” If you liked to recreate it, here’s the recipe.
