Glen Campbell, George Jones Earn Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards

Glen Campbell and George Jones were announced as Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients on Wednesday (Dec. 21). The invitation-only ceremony for the winners will take place on Feb. 11 in Los Angeles, one day prior to the Grammy Awards. The Allman Brothers Band, the late Antonio Carlos Jobim, the Memphis Horns, Diana Ross and the late Gil Scott-Heron will also be honored with lifetime achievement awards. In addition, Trustee Awards will be awarded to New Orleans musician Dave Bartholomew, the late Steve Jobs and jazz recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder, while Celemony (creator of audio technology Melodyne) and the late recording engineer Roger Nichols will receive Technical Grammy Awards.
