OFFSTAGE: 10 New Songs for January

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

I’m so ready for the clean slate the New Year brings. Don’t get me wrong. I loved every bit of 2011, from Jan. 1 through right now — and almost all of the country music it brought. But now that it’s practically January, I’m excited about the music that will kick off the year. And here are 10 of the new releases the will hit country radio stations throughout the month:

Miranda Lambert, “Over You”
Tim McGraw, “Better Than I Used to Be”
Blake Shelton, “Drink on It”
Canaan Smith, “We Got Us”
Josh Turner, “Time Is Love”
Clay Walker, “Like We Never Said Goodbye”
Dustin Lynch, “Cowboys and Angels”
Ronnie Dunn, “Let the Cowboy Rock”
Eli Young Band, “Even if It Breaks Your Heart”
Ira Dean, “Something About a Sunday”
