Please resist the urge to pelt us with discarded holiday ornaments as we once again report there has been no movement at the top of Billboard's country songs and albums charts.

The Zac Brown Band's "Keep Me in Mind" and Lady Antebellum's Own the Night continue to occupy the same prime real estate they did last week and the week before.

There has, however, been a sudden decline in Christmas music, a circumstance our chart analysts are looking into.

This week's highest-debuting album is Modern Country Heroes' Top 50 Hottest Country Hits NOW, a collection of cover tunes that touches down at No. 38.

New as well is Alabama's Setlist: The Very Best of Alabama (No. 73).

Returning titles include the various artists collection This One's for Him: A Tribute to Guy Clark (No. 64), the Casey Donahew Band's Double-Wide Dream (No. 65) and Joe Nichols' It's All Good (No. 66). Also, the Lacs' Country Boy's Paradise (No. 70), Hank 3's Ghost to a Ghost/Gutter Town (No. 74) and Robert Earl Keen's Ready for Confetti (No. 75).

On the songs chart, Josh Turner's "Time Is Love" (No. 56) leads the list of three new songs and is followed closely by Jason Aldean's "Fly Over States" (No. 59) and Steve Holy's "Until the Rain Stops" (No. 60).

Making comebacks are the Eli Young Band's "Even if It Breaks Your Heart" (No. 51), Craig Campbell's "When I Get It" (No. 54), Neal McCoy's "A-OK" (No. 55), Katie Armiger's "Scream" (No. 57) and Jana Kramer's "Why You Wanna" (No. 58).

Rounding out the Top 5 albums, in descending order, are Aldean's My Kinda Party, Scotty McCreery's Clear as Day, Luke Bryan's Tailgates & Tanlines and Toby Keith's Clancy's Tavern.

Songs No. 2 through No. 5 are David Nail's "Let It Rain," Eric Church's "Drink in My Hand," Aldean's "Tattoos on This Town" and Rascal Flatts' "Easy" (with Natasha Bedingfield).

According to Nielsen SoundScan, sales of the Top 75 country albums amounted to 407,523 units the final week of 2011 -- a drop of 669,538 units from the week before.
