OFFSTAGE: Justin Moore Kicked Out of Truluck’s

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

When Justin Moore was in Dallas for the Cotton Bowl last week, he was asked to leave the swanky restaurant Truluck’s because he was allegedly hitting on two women. So, like any celebrity in his shoes, he tweeted a little rant on Thursday (Jan. 5) about the experience so that his 73,000 followers would know how rude he thought Truluck’s was.

“Literally, just got kicked out of a place in Dallas. TRUE LUCK’S! DO NOT GO THERE! Was tossed for attempting to hit on two girls,” he wrote, adding later, “This was according to the toolbag managing the place. Apparently, he is unaware of my wife and 2 daughters. Had to be the most bizarre experience of my life.” Moore wrote another tweet that read, “If you are in dallas, do not eat at this place. Wow…what a strange experience. Felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman…”

Now, I obviously wasn’t there. But I know Moore. And I know this: he is very friendly, but not in a flirtatious way at all. And even if he was, since when is flirting against a restaurant’s policy? In fact, if Truluck’s were to put a serious ban on flirting, I’m guessing they could probably kiss their bar business goodbye. Anyway, at least all Moore did was tweet about it. Because like his “I Could Kick Your Ass” song says, he could jack your jaw and put you flat in the dirt, boy.
