Lionel Richie Releases Country Duets Album, 'Tuskegee'

He Takes Over as 'CMT's VJ for a Day' on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT

Lionel Richie released a new album of country duets, Tuskegee, on Monday (March 26). The Mercury Nashville project features new versions of 13 of Richie's biggest hits.

Richie recorded with guests such as Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.

Richie takes over as CMT's VJ for a Day and shares his favorite country videos in a one-hour special that debuts Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT. In addition, his music video for "Endless Love" with Twain is now airing on CMT.

His other TV appearances include NBC's The Voice on Monday, NBC's The Today Show with Little Big Town on Tuesday, CBS's Late Show With David Letterman (with Aldean) on Tuesday and CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday.

He will also appear on the ACM Awards live from Las Vegas on CBS on Sunday. The following night, he will join many of his duet partners for an all-star taping, ACM Presents: Lionel Richie and Friends -- In Concert. The special airs April 13 on CBS.

In addition, he will perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 2, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live (with Currington) on April 4 and CBS' The Talk on April 5.
