Jake Owen’s “Alone With You” Alone at Top of Songs Chart

Luke Bryan Still Holds the Beach with Tailgates & Tanlines

Jake Owen this week scores his second No. 1 Billboard single as “Alone With You” completes its 26-week climb to the peak. His first No. 1 was last year’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

On the albums chart, Luke Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines continues to be the top dog.

Former American Idol finalist Casey James self-titled CD makes its debut at an impressive No. 2, followed by two other newcomers: the snappily titled multi-artist collection, 47th Academy of Country Music Awards: 2010 Nominee Spotlight, arriving at No. 23, and Chase Rice’s Dirt Road Communion, bowing at No. 48.

Glen Campbell’s Ghost on the Canvas returns at No. 73, and Loretta Lynn’s All Time Gospel Favorites is resurrected at No. 75.

This week’s freshman songs are Dierks Bentley’s “5-1-5-0” (No. 56) and Martina McBride’s “Marry Me,” featuring Pat Monahan of Train (No. 60).

Jerrod Niemann’s “Shinin’ on Me” stages a comeback at No. 59.

Rounding out the Top 5 albums, in descending order, are Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party, Lady Antebellum’s Own the Night and Eric Church’s Chief.

Songs No. 2 through No. 5 are Taylor Swift’s “Ours” (last week’s No. 1), Lee Brice’s “A Woman Like You,” Blake Shelton’s “Drink on It” and Lady Antebellum’s “Dancin’ Away With My Heart.”

The floor is now yours.
