George Jones Postpones Tour Through May 20

George Jones has postponed his tour dates through May 20 as he recovers from an upper respiratory infection. He had been scheduled to sing at Caruthersville, Mo., on Saturday (April 28), followed by eight Canadian tour dates. His publicist says the dates will be rescheduled. Jones was hospitalized on March 29 and returned home five days later. The Country Music Hall of Fame member’s next tour date will be May 25 at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., according to his website. He has 10 dates scheduled through July 20 in Verona, N.Y.
