Hamburger Casserole

1 pound hamburger
1 cup uncooked rice
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup water
butter

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cook hamburger until no longer pink. Butter 2 ½ quart casserole dish. Place crumbled hamburger into dish. Sprinkle with rice. Mix dry onion soup with can of mushroom soup. Pour over rice layer. Cover and bake for one hour at 350°. Quick, easy and good.
